Murray, a film lecturer specialising in romantic comedies, and Dana, a gynaecologist, are 30-something best friends and roommates. They're both successful, bright, and still single. Their strong friendship is tested when Dana falls in love with a man Murray ditched in a hit and run accident, who then shows up at their doorstep. Lonely, Murray realises she has feelings for him as well. Despite their turbulent first interaction, Murray convinces herself that he is actually meant for her – after all, this is how all classic romantic comedies begin.
JIFF screens the Australian Premiere of the first three episodes of this hilarious comedy series, which won Best Comedy at Series Mania.
