The Jewish Board of Deputies in association with Multicultural NSW present a post-screening discussion on Jewish life in Egypt before 1956, and the significance of the Cairo Geniza. With Michael Christie SC, whose Greek-Egyptian family lived in harmony with their Jewish neighbours in Egypt for generations and Dr. Racheline Barda. Dr Barda was born in Alexandria, Egypt, and left in 1957, shortly after the Suez War.
