2013 was the 70th anniversary of the rescue of the Danish Jews in October, 1943. Throughout German-occupied Europe during World War Two, Jews were systematically deported to Nazi concentration camps. But Denmark remained an exception until October 1943. This film uncovers what happened during those dark days, meeting survivors and witnesses who tell of how it felt to flee from their homes and their country, not knowing what the future would hold.
