Based on a true story, Let Me Go explores the lingering impact of dark family secrets on future generations.
Abandoned by her mother when she was four years old, Helga is now a grown woman with her own family. When she receives a letter from her ailing mother, Helga is forced to confront the long-term effects of her absence, and shares a long-repressed secret with her granddaughter, Emily. The two travel to Vienna to meet the debilitated matriarch, and together experience the unravelling of a sinister family mystery.
Let Me Go will also screen at the Cameo Cinemas, Belgrave on Sat, 25 November.
