Leading the raid on Uganda’s Entebbe International Airport in 1976, Yoni Netanyahu was the lone casualty in a mission that freed over 100 hostages. Dead at 30, he became an overnight hero.
Follow Me: The Yoni Netanyahu Story is a moving documentary that chronicles an intelligent and enigmatic man who chose between life as a soldier and that of a scholar at Harvard University in the United States. His intense passion for his Israel brought him back to his homeland where he lead secret missions and served the military at the expense of his family, his loved ones and, ultimately, his life.
Both inspiring and tragic, Follow Me features home footage, personal stories, and Yoni’s own letters and poetry, as well as interviews with military leaders and presidents – including his younger brother, Benjamin Netanyahu, who notably recounts the sad tale of telling their mother of Yoni’s death.
